Where is the silver lining at the end
Of my thoughts in a dark cloud ?
My heart too is struck by lightening ,
My emotion too thunders loud.. !

Surely Sue. I connect a lot to nature. And that is one reason, almost every poem of mine will find an aspect of nature covered in it. Thanks for reading through dearie. ๐

What powerful imagery and energy in so few words. I can relate to this piece, having suffered the unspeakable loss of my husband and having an old flame come back into my life two years later. Wonderful poem.
